Youtube Hack: how to download a YouTube video?

How many times have you dreamed of being able to download a YouTube video, or to separate the sound from that video so that you can reuse it elsewhere?

We recently published an article that explains how to share a YouTube video without any ads. In this article we'll look at how to convert a video to .mp4 format, or how to extract audio from a YouTube video and download it in .mp3 format.

With this new trick, you'll finally be able to download any YouTube video to the device of your choice!

To do this, you need to add the three letters "pwn" before the word "youtube" in the URL and choose your preferred download option.

Let's give it a try!

Here's a video explaining what the Newzik App is and how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTD7BQVKn7s

Here's the same video, with the "pwn" added before "youtube". Click on the link : https://www.pwnyoutube.com/watch?v=dTD7BQVKn7s

How to download YouTube content as a video file

To download any YouTube content and save it as an .MP4 file, you can use one of the services listed in the first category: "Download this video as an FLV or MP4 file", but I'd recommend using KeepVid. It's very fast, easy and reliable.

Click on the red "Download video" button and wait a few seconds: that's it! Your video has been saved on your computer.

How to download YouTube content as an audio file

Here again, you can choose between all the options in the category, but for best results, I recommend using the second option in the list: Yt2Mp3.ws

Click on the "convert" button. Wait a few seconds, and voilà! You can save the audio from any YouTube video (up to one hour long) to your computer as an MP3 file...

You see, it's as simple as that!
